Pictured, today's micro-project: the repair of the occasional table that resides in the cottage. A cheap affair, despite the apparent elegance of form, this thing was seriously wobbly and had suffered some accidental damage to its surface. When I took it down to the studio for a good look at the state of the thing, it was obvious that one of the legs was, shall we say, less than securely attached to the rest of it, necessitating disassembly and clean-up, followed by gluing and re-screwing the offending limb back to the corpus. A couple of hours later, and stability was restored. I addressed the damage to the surface of the top with wire wool and beeswax polish. Job done...
