In reality, the converse is also excruciatingly, and unfortunately, true: there are many powerful fools wielding faint intellects in their own service, cloaked by the false erudition of a 'classical education'. I leave you with this thought, as our PM wrangles with the issue of his deputy, Dominic Raab's future. I foresee useful fools, protected by fools who really don't see that they are fools. Such a pity we let them get away with it, time after bloody time...
