Winter Blue

We now all seem to be inhabiting a somewhat meteorologically inverted world: it is currently 11:15 AM on the fifteenth of July and my view from the Hill extends little further than the bottom of the garden. It is twelve degrees Celsius out there at the moment.

This photograph was taken in the middle of winter last year, in glorious sunshine with not a hint of frost in the air. For most of May this year, also, Rachub was hotter than the Med, peaking in said bottom garden at over thirty degrees for several days running, the daytime average seldom dropping below twenty-five. And they say climate change is fake news. Just like COVID-19 I suppose...
